DESCRIPTION: all S Series micro switches are identical in shape and size and are divided into five subfamilies (S16 – S10 – HD – S5 – S3) according to their electrical and mechanical specifications. These highly reliable micro switches by Milano Componenti are capable of satisfying any requirements.
APPLICATIONS: this generation of magnetic micro switches is mainly used in the COLD or ICE MAKER sector as limit switch for turning production trays upside down, due to their high mechanical strength. They can be change-over (CO) or NC/NO. High reliability is the main characteristic of this component, making it a first choice for high operating loads or restricted spaces. The noble materials used to manufacture the micro switch have been studied to guarantee operation even in extreme conditions.
OPERATION: magnetic micro switches can be operated by directly pressing the operating button, via a lever (lever or roller micro switches) or with a telescopic button that increases overtravel.
MATERIALS: body in self-extinguishing glass-fibre reinforced polyamide PA 66, flame retardant up to 850°C (Glow Wire test); silver-plated brass terminals; CuBe (beryllium copper alloy) movable contact strip; silver-alloy contact.
VERSIONS: magnetic micro switches are also available that can be coupled and operated by the same lever like a limit switch. The terminals can also be supplied with a 5 mm pitch.
On request and for sufficient quantities, Milano Componenti also develops special versions to the client’s design.
